Matty trains me once a week for my boxing training, where he focuses on my balance and agility, but also my flexibility.

Since I've been with Matty i've felt a lot quicker on my feet, due to the fact that we do a lot of speed and agility training, but also concentrating on plyometric training to help my explosive speed.

Matty is a great trainer and i look forward to every session i have with him because i know it's going to work me to the best of my ability.

Matt trains me 3 times a week, he focuses my training to improve my rugby skills.
My strength has gone through the roof, i am chest pressing 140kg, and bicep curling 27.5kg on each side of the bar!
I feel powerful and stronger on the pitch.
I have also gone from 16.5stone to 15stone in body weight, whilst maintaining all of my muscle.

Matt Trains me once a week, the training, is football specific and designed to my own personal needs. I've noticed a vast improvement in my core and leg strength.

Training with Matt is hard, but fun and his unique sense of humour makes the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. i would recommend it to anybody!

I have had personal training sessions with Matt Carlin, for at least once  a week for the past 6 months.

 

My initial goal was to lose a stone in weight and i achieved this in the first 7 weeks.

My body shape has now changed and i have lost inches from my waist.

 

I have been a member og 6 gyms in the past 15 years and never lasted moe than 3 months at any of them because of my lack of motivation to get up and go on my own.

 

Matt is the ULTIMATE motivator!

 

I look forward to my sessions with him and although they are never easy, i always leave feeling better about myself.

 

The sessions are varied and fun and, thanks to Matt i am now fitter than i have ever been.

 

The only downside is that he tells me i will not have a six pack until i cut down on the alcohol!

Since having my  two children, i had excess weight that i found increasingly difficult to get rid of. So i decided to choose Matt as a personal trainer, as he was able to provide me wih one to one sessions at times that suited my busy work and family life.

 

Matt gave me advice on my nutrition and set out various exercise plans to encourage and motivate me to achieve my goals.

 

I am now two stone lighter and feeling so much more fitter and younger.

I had never set foot in a gym (as you can tell) before i hooked up with Matt with the aim of improving my fitness for equestrian sports. Matt has made going to the gym something to look forward to each week whilst gently ramping up the work out challenge and providing practical and useable information about not only exercise but also diet and the anatomy. I now carry 2 stone less weight, continue to develop my overall body strength and i am now working at my running (never even ran for a bus before). But for me the most pleasing aspect is that my goal of being a better horse rider is also being met.

After trawling through a list of personal trainers in Derby, i cam upon Matts website, and something just leapt out at me and drew me in.

 

I emailed Matt and within 24hours he responded, exposing his enthusiasm and zest for life. So i decided to take a chance to see if he could motivate me to do something about my weight and fitness!

 

I rang Matt and arranged my first session, although very nervous when i first got there, within minutes he had me relaxed and at ease.

 

Matt is top of his field in fitness taining and extremely knowledgeable in nutrition.

 

He makes me laugh and ache at the same time, "NO PAIN NO GAIN", beware, Matt is a hard taskmaster and giving up and giving in is not an option with him.

 

Worry if he uses the term "LETS SPICE IT UP A BIT" because you know the training is going up a step!

 

He is both motivational and inspirational and always gets the best out of you. One on one training is superb with him, because within that hour it's all about me and Matt gives me his full attention.

 

Since training with Matt my general health has greatly improved and i have lost an amazing 10 inches off my tummy in the first 9 weeks!!

 

I would not hesitate in recommending Matt to anyone.

Before finding Matt Carlin-Personal Trainer in February of this year, I had received training from four personal trainers over a seven year period.  Each of these trainers had their strengths but on several occasions I was feeling that I was not gaining in strength or size and I definitely was not receiving the correct information with regards to nutrition.  Then, I met Matt and from week 1, everything seemed to fit into place!

 

Matt has only been training me for five months and in that time he has transformed my body shape significantly.  I was so impressed with his PT sessions that after two weeks, I asked him to train me three times a week.  My only regret is that I didn't find him years ago!

 

There is no better trainer who shows an endless abundance of passion, enthusiasm and dedication to his clients week in week out. Without Matt's help, I could not achieve any of this.  I am constantly amazed by my gains in strength and my continued growth of lean muscle-mass and this is all thanks to him.

 

With regards to Nutrition, Matt has taught me so much and the diet that I follow is amazing to help me grow in size and strength and maintain my muscle.  The amount of expertise that Matt has is quite staggering and he really has crushed any worries that I previously had about my diet and he constantly checks, supports and tweaks my diet.

 

Can't recommend Matt highly enough!  If you want to achieve the perfect body-shape, then there's only one guy who can help -Matt Carlin.
